Counselor-in-Training (CIT) Program
Campers love our counselors so much, that many of them aspire to become camp counselors themselves!
This program is designed for campers ages 15 - 16 years who would like to become counselors at Camp Mi-Te-Na. Because of its popularity, there is limited space in this program that prepares young adults for the responsibilities and rewards of being a camp counselor.
This four week session includes workshop training that focuses on personal development. Participants learn decision making techniques, group work skills, and activity leadership. Counselors-In-Training practice their new skills by assisting camp counselors during the regular camping season. It’s an exciting and rewarding way for boys to take their Camp Mi-Te-Na experience to the next level!
