Counselor-in-Training (CIT) Program

Campers love our counselors so much, that many of them aspire to become camp counselors themselves!

This program is designed for campers that are 16 years of age who would like to become counselors at Camp Mi-Te-Na. Because of its popularity, there is limited space in this program that prepares young adults for the responsibilities and rewards of being a camp counselor.

This four week session includes workshop training that focuses on personal development. Participants learn decision making techniques, group work skills, and activity leadership. Counselors-In-Training practice their new skills by assisting camp counselors during the regular camping season. It's an exciting and rewarding way for boys to take their Camp Mi-Te-Na experience to the next level!

In order to participate in the Counselor-in-Training Program you must attend the entire 4 weeks.
