Camp Mi-Te-Na Alumni Association!

What do you remember best? Swimming in Halfmoon Lake? Playing Kick the Can on the Sportsfield? Tempting the early morning waters of Halfmoon with the Polar Bear Club? Laughing around the campfire with friends? The Camp Mi-Te-Na Alumni Association recognizes the impact that Camp Mi-Te-Na has had not only in their lives, but also in the lives of those who experience our camp. This group includes former campers, staff members, family, and friends of Camp Mi-Te-Na. To get a good idea of the people involved in our Alumni Association, why not plan on attending an upcoming alumni event. Mi-Te-Na's Alumni Association is always working to see camp continue for years into the future by hosting events including fundraisers and staying in touch with the present day activities at our camp. Members of the Alumni Association volunteer their time to camp related activities. These activities include our successful June Volunteer Weekend where alumni gather at camp for a weekend of work that includes cleaning up camp and repairing any of winter's wear and tear. Alumni have also been known to visit camp during the camping season, sharing their camp stories with staff and campers. Finally, alumni serve on the Manchester YMCA's Camp Advisory Board, which is implementing a strategic plan for camp that includes facilities, programming, and fundraising.

Mi-Te-Na's Alumni Association is about maintaining a bridge between camp's past, present, and future. The Alumni Association is about giving back to camp, so others can experience the same wonderful memories that drive the alumni members back to camp year after year!

As always, alumni input and donations are always welcome. We would like to emphasize that all financial gifts made to Camp Mi-Te-Na are used solely for camp purposes to improve facilities, add to endowment, and to provide financial assistance to campers who need scholarship support. Camp staff is ready for your visit:
Camp Director Rick Ross and his staff are returning again this year for another great summer on the shores of Halfmoon Lake. One cannot overstate their love for camp and the manner in which they transfer that fondness to the campers, who develop their own special memories each summer!
