Check out how camp keeps thriving, thanks to your support!

The beautiful and seasonally warm early spring weather has been a wonderful boon to camp, allowing us to begin our clean-up earlier than usual. It has also motivated families to think about summer camp for their children. Let’s hope we have an equally beautiful summer!

During this past winter, we’ve been doing a great deal of planning for Mi-Te-Na and Foss.  We have organized an active Camp Advisory Board which is implementing a strategic plan for camp that includes facilities, programming, and fundraising. This is a very dedicated group that will meet quarterly in order to keep the energy going that the camps really need.

As always, your input and donations are welcome. We would like to emphasize that all financial gifts made to either Foss or Mi-Te-Na are used solely for camp purposes to improve facilities, add to endowment and to provide financial assistance to children who need scholarship support. Thank you for your support!

We are also excited to welcome our new Camp Foss Director, Molly Reeve, who has nearly 20 years of experience at Foss (she started as a 9 year old camper!) and even more enthusiasm to bring to camp. We know Molly is anxious to meet this year’s campers, their families and the counselors. She can’t wait to make it the best summer ever!

At the same time, Rick Ross and his staff are returning again this year for another great summer at Mi-Te-Na. One can’t overstate their love for camp and the manner in which they transfer that fondness to the campers, who develop their own special memories each summer.

If you have any questions about camp, feel free to contact Tom Archer, Vice President of Camping Services at tarcher@gmfymca.org or 603-913-1729.

Please note, Alumni Weekend is June 12th and 13th. Meet at Mi-Te-Na at noon for lunch. The weekend will combine work and fun. Time will be spent at both camps, but meals will be served at Mi-Te-Na.
